Shoebox Diorama
This could be a fun art project to do to talk about perspective. Thanks to Rachel Saunders and Ally Adams for the project!
Materials
White Construction paper
Colored construction paper
stickers
glue
Mirrors
shoe box or other small box
crayons
1. Get a Shoebox or another box you can use as a base. The box can be big or little
2. Create the background by drawing on a white or colored piece of paper, cutting it to the right size, and pasting it to the back of the shoebox.
3. Create the middle ground. Draw and cut out the pictures you would like to have in the middle ground and make sure you leave a tap to attach them to the shoebox. You can either hang the pictures from the top of the shoebox or glue them to the bottom.
4. Created the foreground. Draw and cut out pictures you would like to have in the front of your shoebox and don't forget to leave a tab to attach them to the shoebox.
5. Have the students glue the cut out of their name and put it either hanging from the diorama or standing up at the top.
6. Put any finishing touches to make the diorama and display!
